Aside from running into financial issues and catching the "Pig-Sick", this year's Youmacon was indeed a blast. I still wish I could have gotten an Artist table though. This year seemed like it would have been incredible for sales.
2 weeks prior to Youmacon, I left my job at a Sugar Refinery. I had put away quite a bit of money for Youmacon. Within that time period, the ball-bearings in my car's tires goes bad, and ends up wrecking both tires; $400 repair bill. A week later, my AC clutch, compressor, and many other misc. things went wrong with the engine, bringing me to an additional $700 bill.
I should be getting some more works uploaded fairly soon. These past few weeks have not been so great for me, and i've barely gotten any drawing done. I also have to get back to my comics and get started on my first cartoon.
As what happened to many others after the convention, I too have gotten sick....kinda bad too. I also realized how hard it is to draw when you are this sick, so I put that off temporarily. I will say this though, the one good thing about sick days is it gives me an excuse to catch up on games i've been putting aside for a while. OH how I have missed Phantasy Star 4!
